WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING HIGHLY-MOTIVATED SUMMER SUPPORT WORKERS TO
JOIN OUR TEAM IN CLARE, LIMERICK & NORTH TIPPERARY.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST:

The Summer Support Worker’s role is to facilitate participation of
children and teenagers with additional needs in our summer programmes
while providing the highest standards of quality supports.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* Minimum QQI Level 5 Childcare course (total 8 modules) to include
module on special needs or 1 Year completed of a related degree
programme (such as Social Care, Teaching, Nursing, Occupational
Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology)

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

* Experience of working with children/young people or people with
disabilities.
* Full driver’s licence
* Commitment to working in partnership with parents/carers and
children in a family centred manner
* Current Manual Handling Training/First Aid
* Good knowledge of child protection & child development
